This site was inspired by our son, Cooper William Keefer. Cooper was born with multiple heart defects and has fought through multiple open heart surgeries. He is growing strong and we are very blessed to have him. Many of our friends have stepped forward to organize various fund raising events to help us deal with the financial side of our journey. We could not help but "pay it forward" and begin setting up a trust fund that would help other families in our situation. Families that have health insurance and do not qualify for many of the programs designed to aid in the financial burden, but who are your average American family that feel the strain of such unexpected and substantial medical expenses. Please join us on our journey as we continue to raise our little fighter and help other families to do the same.
